Tip: Community Care Licensing Regional Office Affected by Furloughs

In an attempt to address the ongoing budget crisis in California, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has ordered state employees to take two unpaid furlough days each month starting this month (February). To comply with the mandatory furloughs, the Community Care Licensing Division has announced that, until further notice, the regional offices will be closed on the first and third Friday of each month.

We recommend that you contact your Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) to confirm his/her availability and how this may impact your community. We will keep you posted as updates on the furlough become available.
