  1. I prefer it when assisted living takes place in the home of the one who needs care. I think it’s better for the caregiver and the one who is receiving care.

However, for some individuals staying it home can create safety risks (such as related to falls or wandering) and isolation concerns. The social opportunities, energy, community, and interaction found in some of the best assisted living communities is amazing.
