  1. Sustain patience: There is no such thing as an overnight success.
  2. Sustain effort: To achieve your goals you have to work hard and be willing to fight through difficult challenges. Whether it is battling occupancy, staffing, or operational issues, successful assisted living providers must exercise patience.
  3. Sustain learning: Be it taking courses to learn more about dementia care, studying your state regulations, or conducting marketing research; you must continue to educate yourself in the rapidly evolving assisted living industry
