Researchers at CDC Seeking Assisted Living and Residential Care Communities

Researchers at CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) plan to conduct the National Study of Long-Term Care Providers (NSLTCP) in 2014.  They are asking assisted living and similar residential care communities for help with testing the survey questionnaire.  Testing will take place over the telephone in late March and early April, and will last no more than 90 minutes.  Participants will be compensated for their time.

Would you be willing to participate in NSLTCP questionnaire testing, if asked?

If so, please send the following information to

  • The name and mailing address of your community/facility
  • The name of your administrator/director
  • A contact phone number
  • His/her work email address

If selected to participate, a staff member from the Research Triangle Institute (RTI), which is contracted to NCHS to conduct NSLTCP, will call you to set up an appointment for late March/early April.
